Language

The text recognition language should match the language used in your documents, in order to achieve best recognition results.

 

Deskew

Automatically straightens up the image. This usually improves text recognition significantly. It is recommended to leave this function activated, whenever possible.

 

Select OCR-Engine

By default, CROSSCAP uses open-source engine Tesseract for text recognition (Tesseract is developed and maintained by GoogleCode).
