Cover pages are placed at the beginning of a document pile, ahead of the first regular document (i.e. on top of the pile). Cover pages may be used for documentation puposes (concerning batch structure, or the scanning process) or for acquiring batch index values, through bar codes or text recognition.

Cover pages are not treated like regular pages (i.e. they are not counted the way regular pages or documents are) and they will usually not be exported.

Enter the amount of images resulting from cover all cover pages. For example, If you are using two sheets of paper as cover pages, you will need to enter 4 as the cover page count, for all front and reverse sides of those sheets.
