Description
Enter a description for your template. A short description will be generally helpful, but a detailed description will be particularly helpful in cases where you need to provide scan operators with background information and special instructions for this template.
Finalize via process manager
Setting this option to On will forward every batch based on this template to the process manager (rather than finalizing it within the CROSSCAP main application).
See Using the Process Manager in section Process Manager, for more details.
Cover page count
Enter the amount of pages you wish to use as cover pages (note: one cover sheet equals two cover pages!).
Overwrite export files
This setting controls the behaviour when CROSSCAP encounters existing files with identical file names, during export:
If this setting is On, CROSSCAP will overwrite existing files without confirmation or error message. If this setting is Off, CROSSCAP will abort the export process and present an error message.
Check export directory
This setting controls the behaviour when CROSSCAP encounters existing directories and paths, during export:
If this setting is On, CROSSCAP will abort the export process and present an error message. If this setting is Off, CROSSCAP will continue with export, without confirmation.
Document separator position
This option specifies whether document separators are placed ahead of or behind an image.
In the majority of cases, the (default) setting will be Before the page.
Show ICC profile while scanning
If ICC profile data is supplied by the scanner, this setting will decide whether such data will be ignored or immediately applied to incoming images (On will apply ICC profiles on the fly, Off will ignore ICC profile data and use the original image).
Please note that processing ICC profile data will consume PC resources and might therefore slow scanning down.
