Please note that a subset of image processing tools is also available during export. These tools have been marked with an *, in the list above.
This is where all the functions available for automated image processing are enabled and configured.
After clicking the
button, an extended dialogue with three windows will open.
On the left side (Available), select the desired function and copy it to the right window (Selected) using the button labelled with an arrow to the right. Repeat as often as necessary.
After clicking on any of the selected functions in the right window, the bottom window will show you the detail options for this function. In the following sections, these options will be discussed in detail.
Image processing on server (Deferred image processing, requires CROSSCAP Enterprise system)
Image processing requires substantial amounts of CPU capacity. In order to relieve CROSSCAP Scan-Clients from this task and speed up all other processing, image processing functions may be selectively transferred to a CROSSCAP Enterprise server (all CROSSCAP image processing functions offer this option, with only one notable exception, the Batch separation function).
If Image processing on server is activated for any of the image processing functions, then their execution will be deferred and processed by the CROSSCAP Enterprise server, later on. Deferred image processing will occur during the pre-process workflow step (see chapter Enterprise Server, section System workflow Enterprise).
